Article 3 (Purpose of collecting and using personal information)

1. To provide and operate our services.
2. To respond to inquiries from users. (including to confirm the identity of the user.)
3. To send you information about new features, updates, promotions, etc. of the service you are using, as well as information about other services provided by WABISABI.
4. To contact you as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
5. To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or unfair purposes, and to refuse their use of the Service.
6. To allow users to view, change, or delete their own registration information, or view the status of their usage.
7. To charge users for paid services.
8. For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

1. WABISABI shall change the purpose of use of personal information only if the purpose of use is reasonably considered to be relevant to the purpose of use before the change.
2. In the event of a change in the purpose of use, the revised purpose shall be notified to the User or publicly announced on the Website in a manner prescribed by WABISABI.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. WABISABI will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.
   1. When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the recipient of such information shall not fall under the category of a third party.
3. When it is especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.
5. When the following items are notified or announced in advance and WABISABI has notified the Personal Information Protection Committee.
   1. The purpose of use must include provision to a third party.
   2. Data items provided to third parties.
   3. Means or method of provision to third parties.
   4. Stopping the provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the individual.
   5. How to accept the person's request.
6. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the recipient of such information shall not fall under the category of a third party.
   1. When WABISABI outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
   2. When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons.
   3. In cases where personal information is used jointly with a specific person, and where this fact, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint use, the purpose of use by the person using the information, and the name of the person responsible for managing the personal information are notified to the person in advance or are made readily accessible to the person in question. The items of personal information to be used to that effect and jointly, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by the user, and the name or title of the person responsible for the management of said personal information are notified to the person in advance or made readily available to the person.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. When WABISABI receives a request from an individual for disclosure of his/her personal information, WABISABI will disclose such information to the individual without delay. However, the Museum may decide not to disclose all or part of the personal information in the following cases, and if the Museum decides not to disclose the personal information, it will notify the individual to that effect without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each case of disclosure of personal information.
   1. If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person concerned or a third party.

   3. When it would violate any other laws or regulations.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, the Company will not disclose non-personal information, such as historical information and characteristic information.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1. The User may request WABISABI to correct, add or delete his/her personal information if the personal information in the Museum's possession is incorrect, in accordance with the procedures established by WABISABI.
2. If WABISABI receives a request from a User as described in the preceding paragraph and deems it necessary to respond to such request, WABISABI shall correct such personal information without delay.
3. When WABISABI makes a correction, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make a correction, etc., WABISABI will notify the User of this without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

1. If WABISABI receives a request from an individual to stop the use of or delete his/her personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use or that it has been obtained through wrongful means, WABISABI will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
2. If, based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, we determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will suspend the use of the relevant personal information, etc. without delay.
3. When WABISABI suspends the use of the information in accordance with the preceding paragraph, or when WABISABI decides not to suspend the use of the information, it will notify the User of this without delay.
4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, in cases where it is difficult to take alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of users due to the large cost of suspension of use or other difficulties in taking such measures, such alternative measures shall be taken.

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

1. The contents of this policy may be changed without notice to the user, except as otherwise provided by law or otherwise in this policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by WABISABI, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this Web site.
